Have you Claimed your Free £5 from Amazon?
I’m not sure how I missed this kind offer from the online mega-retailer, but I noticed that I could get a Free £5 from Amazon, out of the goodness of their hearts. Almost. They likely gain a lot more than the £5 is worth, (it’s a great marketing tactic for them!) but if it helps towards your purchase, and you’re shopping there anyway, you’ve got nothing to lose.
Getting a free £5 from Amazon is something that I’ve only just noticed. Please tell me if I’m late to the party! I was pretty excited when making my order that I needed to tell you. Dependant on how much you’re spending with the eCommerce giant, jumping through this hoop will land you a sweet £5 extra to spend, or a £5 saving on what you were spending anyway.

How to get a Free £5 from Amazon
This worked for me, as an Amazon Prime member. Im not sure if that’s a requirement to get a free £5 from Amazon, but there’s no harm in trying, right? Unfortunately for us, the offer states that it only works once per customer too.
If you keep your Amazon account signed in on your computer, click through to Amazon using THIS LINK and follow the instructions on screen. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.
Claiming £5 from Amazon on the Desktop site is easy!
- Head over to Amazon and Sign in
- Hover over the “Your Account” menu heading near the top right of the page
- Select “Your Account” from the dropdown
- Click on “Gift Cards & Topup“
- Click the yellow button labeled “Top Up Your Account“
- At the top of the page, click on “See More” next to where it says “Get £5 extra when you top up £40“
- Click the yellow button labeled “Click to register for the Top Up reward“
- The button should disappear and you should see “You have successfully registered for the promotion“
- Click on “Top Up Your Account“
- Chose any amount, £40 or above to top up. The offer is only valid for top ups of £40+
- Select your payment method if you have any saved and then click “Top Up £<chosen amount>“
- You account will then be topped up with your chosen amount and an extra £5
- Purchases can then be made as normal using your top up balance and card combined if needs be.
Grab £5 from Amazon on your Mobile.
- Open up the Amazon app on your mobile device and Sign in
- Tap the menu “three lines” button.
- Select “Your Account” from the dropdown
- Tap “Top Up Your Account“
- Just below your Gift Card balance, click on “Top up £40, get £5 free“
- Click the yellow button labeled “Click to register for the Top Up reward“
- The button should disappear and you should see “You have successfully registered for the promotion“
- Click on “Top Up Your Account“
- Chose any amount, £40 or above to top up. The offer is only valid for top ups of £40+
- Select your payment method if you have any saved and then click “Top Up £<chosen amount>“
- You account will then be topped up with your chosen amount and a very generous £5 free.
- Purchases can then be made as normal using your top up balance and card combined if required.
Hope this has helped you out. If you spend a lot on Amazon, like me, £5 for free won’t get you far, but it’s a nice gesture.
